Profile Suzanne Deddish has practiced labor and employment law almost exclusively for over a decade, and has expanded her practice to include mediation, arbitration, and workplace investigations. Ms. Deddish understands the value of working on workplace issues early and has put her legal experience to great use as a workplace investigator. As a workplace investigator, Ms. Deddish provides a thorough and impartial evaluation of workplace complaints of harassment, discrimination and retaliation for that workplace. Her ability to talk to people, whether they are in the C-Suite or on the assembly line, helps her to effectively get to the bottom of things so that corrective measures, if warranted, can be done. Ms. Deddish also serves as a mediator at One Mediation where she focuses on helping parties resolve employment and labor related disputes. Ms. Deddish's expertise in EEO matters, as well as FEPA and OFCCP matters serves parties well in working out their own resolution. She also handles mediation of FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, Sections 1981 and 1983, tortious interference, non-compete, and negligent supervision and hire claims. Ms. Deddish also arbitrates reasonable accommodation disputes between employers and employees. These arbitration hearings range from conference calls on disputes during the initial "interactive process" to pre-litigation arbitrations with more formal hearings. Ms. Deddish helps employers and employees work out progressive resolutions through a creative application of arbitration.
